Size
The larger the sink, the higher the price (usually). If you don't do a lot of food prep than a smaller sink is probably fine. But if you do a lot of prep or you have the bench space to accommodate it, then bigger can look stylish. Don't forget about the depth too - make sure it's comfortable for everyone who will use it.

Shape
The way you use your sink will help you decide whether to choose a double or single bowl sink. If you don't wash up by hand very often then you don't need extra space for things like a drainage tray. If you wash up large items then a single bowl is a good idea. But if you want waste disposal then a double bowl is the right choice.
