When it comes to planning for a new kitchen, the initial inquiry we receive is often, “Where do I begin?” In response, Kitchen Concepts Owner, Glen Kelman, has outlined the process to simplify the planning process. By carefully considering and taking action on each step, you’ll be able to navigate the process of planning a new kitchen with ease.
Our team of experts specialises in creating a seamless journey towards your new kitchen. We have compiled a list of essential steps that should be followed to ensure a smooth process.
- Discover your perfect match – Whether you need a Designer who truly gets you, a skilled Joiner, or a solution that fits your budget, Kitchen Concepts is here to help. Meet our team, who will work with you for the next 8-10 weeks to make your dream kitchen a reality. Our experts bring a wealth of knowledge and are committed to delivering a seamless process.
- To proceed, you should schedule a meeting with one of our qualified Designers to discuss your new kitchen. The Designer will measure the area or review your building plans and create a plan, which includes renders and a quote, for your new space.
- Colors and materials selection can be both fun and overwhelming due to the wide range of options available. Our designers are here to help you make the right choices without any hassle. We assist you in selecting products that meet your needs and a color palette that matches your home’s style and requirements.
- Trades & Project Management – we work closely with a reliable team of sub-trades with which we have a long-standing relationship, spanning over 18 years. We can arrange for these tradespeople to visit your home and discuss the upcoming project with you, providing a detailed quote for the required work.
- After you have confirmed your choices, we will be able to give you an installation date. Once you have confirmed your design and quote, we can secure your delivery and installation date. This usually takes 4-6 weeks from the time of deposit and confirmation.
- Manufacture – At our joinery, we turn your renders into reality. You can schedule a meeting with your designer to inspect your cabinetry while it’s being cut and assembled. We welcome your visit.
- We take care of delivery and installation as well! A day before the scheduled delivery of your joinery, our driver will get in touch with you to inform you of the delivery time. The next day, a qualified installer will arrive to install your new kitchen, complete with your chosen Formica Benchtop. In case you’ve selected an Engineered Stone or Marble benchtop, we’ll arrange for the benchtop to be templated after the installation of the cabinetry so that it can be made to precise measurements.
